New Song: 2021 - Bad Day (Gettin’ Worse)

Surprise! Today I released a new song. It’s an ode (that’s nice way to say it) to the year 2021. It’s called 2021 - Bad Day (Gettin’ Worse).
I was noodling around on this song one day and singing the chorus. When I stopped playing, Mary, my daughter, said to me, “Dad, can you keep playing that Bad Day song?” I was shocked because normally she asks me to be quiet when playing the guitar. When I started playing the song again, Mary sang the chorus. Not going to lie, I had tears in my eyes.
The verses are stream of conscious thoughts I had while thinking about the year 2021. I wrote and recorded this demo this week at home. I had big ideas for this song but after making the demo, I thought it sounded pretty good as is. I couldn’t wait to get it out to the world and so I put it out there.
