Background on the song: Doing Time tells the story of a man wrongly accused of murder. Every opportunity he gets to prove is innocence is cut short until he takes matters in to his own hands. The inspiration for the story comes mostly from the details around the West Memphis 3 as well as the countless other stories of people incarcerated for crimes they did not commit. Too often the American justice system allows others to throw innocent people in jail just so they can get their job done. This song is our small way of helping bring attention to this issue.
